FAQ's on the FREEDOM™ Program:

What areas can be treated?

FREEDOM can be used to treat your face (chin, top lip), chest, arms underarms, legs, stomach and bikini line/brazilian or any other area that you have unwanted hair.

Can Laser Hair Removal treat all types of hair?

Hairs that are not in the active growth stage (anagen) cannot be treated. Blonde, red and grey hairs are more difficult to remove and may not be able to be treated. The results that you can expect from your FREEDOM program will be determined at your complimentary consultation.

When will I see results?

As the process is designed to reduce the density of the hair growth you will start to see results after your second or third treatment. Most clients will get the results they are looking for from 6 - 8 treatments, and if you require more treatments than this to get the results you're looking for, the FREEDOM program offers this with a results guarantee* 2 year treatment period.

Does Laser Hair Removal hurt?

The sensation varies from person to person and between body areas. Some people feel nothing, some feel a heat sensation, and some have likened the sensation to mild stinging or the flicking of a rubber band. Generally the coarser or thicker the hair, the greater the sensation. Some clients may experience a temporary skin response ranging from mild redness to, rarely, blistering. There is also a very rare risk of scarring occuring. During your consultation, your laser consultant will fully explain the process, expectations and cost of your FREEDOM program treatment plan, and will also advise you of any risks associated with this treatment.

What sort of results can I expect?

We can provide testimonials, and “before and after” photographs. It is important to understand that the human body is so superbly designed, it is impossible to remove 100% of the unwanted hair - but using this system we can remove up to 98% in some clients. The average person can expect at least 80% removal, however, this is dependant on age, type of hair, hormone levels, some medical conditions, and some medications. (We note that over 90% of western European and American women use some form of hair removal regularly, ranging from plucking, shaving, waxing, depilatory creams, electrolysis to lasers or VPLs).
