Facial Rejuvenation

The following areas can be treated at Caci Medispa using BOTOX® and our preferred brand of dermal fillers.

  • Lip Enhancement, and lip lines "smokers lines" - treated with dermal filler.
  • Frown Lines – lines between the eyebrows are caused by the action of muscles just above the eyebrows. These are best treated by BOTOX® which relaxes the muscles, but sometimes dermal filler may also be used to smooth the lines.
  • Crows Feet – these are the smile lines on the outside of the eyes which form furrows when you smile or squint These are best treated with BOTOX®  which relaxes the muscle that causes them.
  • Forehead lines - using BOTOX® 
  • Brow lift – creating an arched or flared eyebrow is a new technique achieved with specific placement of BOTOX® . 
  • Nasolabial Folds – from nose to corners of mouth. These deeper folds can be softened with dermal filler.
  • Marionette Lines  – from corners of mouth to chin, these lines often cause a sad look and are also softened using dermal filler.
  • Bunny Lines – scrunch lines on the nose are treated with BOTOX® .
  • Facial and Acne Scars - can be lifted with dermal filler.
  • Chin Crease - can be softened using dermal filler.  

BOTOX® is a Prescription Medicine containing 100 units of botulinum toxin type A for injection. It is used for the treatment of frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. It should be administered only by trained medical professionals. Talk to your specialist about the benefits/risks of this procedure in appearance medicine. Cautions: People with defective neuro-muscular transmission disorders, infection at site of injection, glaucoma, pregnancy and lactation. Possible side effects include headaches, pain, burning/stinging, bruising, swelling or redness at the injection site, local muscle weakness including drooping eyelids/eyebrows, swollen eyelids, skin tightness, tingling sensations, itchiness, nausea and flu like symptoms. If you have any side effects or concerns speak to your doctor. You will need to pay for this medicine. Normal Doctors visit fees apply. Note: BOTOX® treatment lasts about four months and after this time further courses of treatment may be necessary. Speak to your specialist about your own situation.  

Our preferred dermal fillers are prescription medicines. They are sterile non-pyrogen gel implants presented in a graduated pre-filled, disposable syringe, containing 24mg/mL cross-linked hyaluronic acid with or without lidocaine 3mg/mL. Dermal filler is used for filling of facial medium size and deep wrinkles by injection into mid dermis and creating definition and pouting of lips. Dermal filler is for filling of facial medium size and deep wrinkles by injection into the mid and/or deep dermis and increasing volume of lips. Our preferred brand of dermal filler with lidocaine is for filling medium-sized depressions of the skin via mid-dermis injection, as well as for lip definition. Our preferred brand of dermal filler with lidocaine is for filling mid and/or deep depressions of the skin via mid and/or deep dermis injection, as well as for lip definition and enhancement. The presence of lidocaine is meant to reduce the patient’s pain during treatment. Talk to your specialist about the benefits / risks of this procedure in appearance medicine. Cautions: People with hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, severe multiple allergies or anaphylactic shock; allergy to gram positive bacterial proteins; simultaneous administration with laser therapy, chemical peeling or dermabrasion. Our preferred dermal filler with or without lidocaine should not be used in the crow’s feet or glabellar region. Dermal filler with lidocaine should not be used in patients with untreated epilepsy, hypersensitivity to lidocaine or amide-type local anaesthetics, and porphyria. . For Dermal filler with lidocaine caution is required in patients having acute rheumatoid arthritis with heart complications; history of streptococcal disease; undergoing anti-coagulant treatment; combination with drugs that reduce or inhibit hepatic metabolism; symptoms of cardiac conduction disorders; may produce positive results in athlete anti-doping tests. Possible Side Effects: Injection site inflammatory reactions (redness, oedema, erythema) which may be associated with itching and/or pain on pressure, induration or nodules, discolouration; weak filling effect; haematomas; glabellar necrosis, abscess formation, granuloma, hypersensitivity. Note: The brand of dermal filler used in Caci Medispa treatment lasts for up to 12 months and after this time further courses of treatment may be necessary.
