Microdermabrasion

Caci performs Microdermabrasion using the Miracle Microdermabrasion machine. Microdermabrasion resurfaces the skin by gently removing the outer skin layer promoting a vibrant, softer and glowing skin. Inert crystals are blown onto the skin under pressure and suctioned away simultaneously with a sterilised nozzle. This process removes dead skin cells and encourages circulation to the treated skin resulting in improved skin and promoting cell renewal. Microdermabrasion is suitable for all ages, and both women and men.

In independent clinical trials, microdermabrasion was shown to dramatically improve the texture and appearance of facial skin. Microdermabrasion will treat a wide range of skin concerns and skin colours, safely and effectively. Just like physical health and fitness, skin must be exercised to keep it looking younger. A true skin fitness programme will stimulate skin cells to regenerate more efficiently and effectively.

Benefits:

  • Refreshes tired, dull looking skin
  • Softens lines and wrinkles
  • Refines open pores and congested skin
  • Improves blemishes

One of the great features of microdermabrasion is that it can be used as a successful treatment on its own but it also complements a lot of our other facial treatments, such as:

Treatment:

In rare instances, individuals may have small areas of temporary redness for 12 to 48 hours following the treatment. This will settle spontaneously.

Commitment:

  • As needed or 30 minutes per week for six-plus weeks for a course
  • Daily sunscreen with regular exfoliation at home
  • No exposure to sun or sun beds during treatment course
  • Maintenance of one treatment monthly or a booster course every quarter

It is not recommended to have a Microdermabrasion treatment if:

You have the current or recent use (less than one year) of Isotretinoin (Accutane), open acne, active herpes infection, malignant skin tumours, evolving dermatoses, and particular keratoses.
