Frequently Asked Questions
Are cosmetic injectables suitable for me?
Botox® is suitable for most people to reduce lines and wrinkles. There is no ideal age to start, although treatments are more effective on less developed lines. A consultant will work with you to develop a plan that suits your needs.
Dermal Fillers are suitable for most people to treat deep wrinkles and enhance volume.
At Caci your safety is our priority and we do not use cosmetic injectables while customers are pregnant, breastfeeding or while infection is present. Customers with neuro-muscular transmission disorders, glaucoma and other medical conditions or taking certain medications will also not be treated. We are also cautious around other treatments customers are having such as dental work or microblading or if you will be travelling in the very near future.
How does Botox work?
Our facial expressions – laughing, smiling, frowning - are produced by the movement of muscles underneath the skin. Over time, these muscle contractions lead to wrinkles and 'grooves' forming in the skin. As we age and our collagen and elastin production slows down, these lines become more pronounced. Anti-wrinkle injections made from a purified protein are applied under the skin, temporarily reducing the action of the targeted muscles and preventing them from moving. As a result, lines and wrinkles in the skin are softened, giving you a younger, fresher-looking appearance.
Who will carry out my treatments?
At Caci, our appearance medicine treatments are only performed by qualified and highly trained Registered Nurses, so you can rest assured you're in safe hands.
When will I see results and how long do they last?
Results can take a few days or up to 2-3 weeks to become visible, and the effects of the anti-wrinkle treatment generally last up to three or four months. We'll check in with after the treatment to ensure you're still satisfied with the results.
Can a natural look be achieved with cosmetic injectables?
At Caci we are aiming to enhance your natural look. Each individual customer has a consultation to discuss their concerns, how the treatments will work and the results. Each treatment is personalised because we understand that you don’t want to look frozen or overdone and want to simply look and feel your best.
How much does it cost?
Costs vary depending on the area being treated and these will be discussed at a free consultation. At Caci, we aim to make cosmetic injectables affordable and accessible, so we’ve developed a membership called Amerase, with affordable payment plan options to suit your budget, so you can pay off your treatments weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

How does dermal filler work?
Dermal filler is an injectable gel made from hyaluronic acid – a naturally occurring substance in your skin. At Caci, we only allow qualified Registered Nurses to administer the filler, which involves a quick injection process into the targeted area. Once injected, the substance instantly plumps up the skin, smoothing away deep lines, folds and wrinkles in the face and adding volume to lips.
Is Amerase right for you?
At Caci we offer free consultation to chat about your skin, your concerns and goals and the treatment and skincare options that will get you the best results!
