Enhance your natural look instantly. Lip enhancements are one of the most commonly known filler treatments, but it can also be used to contour and plump the face in other areas.
Our team of Registered Nurses at Caci use products specifically designed to work immediately and deliver long lasting results.
Treatment Areas

Nasolabial Folds
Nasolabial folds are the lines between the bottom of the nose & corners of the mouth. Filler is administered to these areas to add volume and lift the skin. It will also smooth wrinkles out and reduce heavy crease lines.

Marionette Lines
Marionette lines are the facial folds between the corners of the mouth and chin. The use of filler in this area creates volume and helps move the corners of the mouth forward—smoothing lines and creating a more upward-turned mouth corner.

Chin & Jawline
This treatment area can reduce the appearance of fat pads, often a result of ageing or genetics—a.k.a. the double chin. It can help create a strong and projected bone structure which can improve the appearance of a short or recessive chin, as well as define the jawline.

Cheeks
Filler is administered above and around the cheeks. This can give you a more defined bone structure. It also works to help smooth wrinkles and plump sagging skin (something that comes with getting older).

Lips
Add hydration and plumpness to your lips, increase symmetry, or help reduce a gummy smile. This is one of our most popular Dermal Filler treatments.

Dermal Filler FAQ's
How Does Dermal Filler Work?
Dermal Filler works by having the filler product (at Caci, we use Juvéderm dermal filler and Belotero dermal filler) which is typically a clear injectable made from hyaluronic acid injected into the skin. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance that can be found naturally in our bodies. In the body, Hyaluronic Acid attracts water, which allows the skin to be more hydrated. As we age, the muscles, fat, bone and skin in our face begins to thin, leading to a loss of volume in the skin and lips and the appearance of fine lines.
At Caci, our qualified Registered Nurses carry out these treatments, which involves a quick injection process that delivers volume with an instant ‘plumping’ effect to the treated area. Once injected, the filler instantly plumps up the skin, smoothing away deep lines, folds and wrinkles in the face and adding volume to lips
How Long Do Dermal Fillers Last?
Results do vary, but typically dermal fillers last from 6-24 months (depending on product used, area treated and your individual metabolism) and results are noticeable immediately after the treatment. We recommend that treatments are carried out 1-2 times per year to achieve and maintain your desired results.
Are Dermal Fillers Suitable For Me?
Dermal Fillers are suitable for most people to treat deep wrinkles and enhance volume. At Caci, your safety is our priority and we do not use cosmetic injectables while customers are planning to be, or pregnant, breastfeeding or while infection is present.
Customers with neuro-muscular transmission disorders, glaucoma and other medical conditions or taking certain medications or a history of Anaphylaxis will also not be treated. We are also cautious around other treatments customers are having such as dental work or microblading or if you will be travelling in the very near future.
Who Will Perform My Dermal Filler Treatment?
Our cosmetic injectable treatments are only performed by qualified and highly trained Registered Nurses, so you can rest assured you’re in safe hands.
How Are Dermal Fillers Different To Anti-Wrinkle Injectables?
Dermal Filler is an injectable gel that provides volume. Anti-Wrinkle Injectables work by relaxing muscle activity and are used to treat moderate to severe lines caused by repeated facial expressions. Read more about the differences between the two.
What Happens At My Dermal Fillers Treatment?
At Caci, we offer free consultations where you have the opportunity to discuss the treatment in full and cover your medical history. After your free consultation, you will be booked in for an appointment to be treated. One of our Caci Registered Nurses eases the Dermal Filler gel into your skin using a fine needle. The injection process can be quick - for example, a lip treatment can take from 15 mins.
Do Dermal Fillers Hurt?
The injection process is quick and the needles are small and fine, so the treatment hardly hurts at all. You’ll likely feel a pinprick, but most customers describe the treatment as being a bit uncomfortable rather than painful.
Are There Side Effects From Dermal Fillers?
There are some common side effects such as swelling, redness, bruising, itching. Other possible side effects include vascular occlusion/compromise, an unevenness or lumpy sensation, an allergic reaction (rare but possible), a blue/grey shadow on the injection site (similar in look to a vein beneath the skin). If you have a history of cold sores (Herpes Simplex) it is possible to develop a lesion following lip treatments.
How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost?
“How much does it cost?” is a very common question we get. Costs vary depending on the area being treated and these will be discussed during your free consultation. For a casual treatment pricing is from $710. Check out our pricing list here At Caci, we aim to make cosmetic injectables accessible and affordable, so we’ve developed a membership called Amerase, with affordable payment plan options to suit your budget—you can pay off your treatments weekly, fortnightly or monthly. There are many more benefits to signing up to this membership so check out the Amerase membership for more information.
How Do I Preapre For A Dermal Filler Treatment?
Time your appointment appropriately. If you have a big event coming up make sure you have a good window of time between your treatment and the event to allow for any bruising or swelling.
- Exercise before treatment. We recommend avoiding any strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours post treatment, so get that gym session/workout in beforehand.
- Get plenty of rest. Particularly the night before the treatment and try to eliminate as much stress as possible before treatment to prevent you from feeling rushed and hurried, this is you time.

What Is The Post Treatment Care Advice?
After treatment your skin may be pink or red at the treatment site. This is normal and should settle within a few hours.
- Bruising is possible, you can apply Hirudoid cream (from most chemists) which may help to shorten the duration of the bruise.
- Avoid consuming alcohol, strenuous exercise or rubbing/massaging the treated area for at least 24 hours.
- If you have swelling you can apply an ice/cold pack for a brief period. Swelling should resolve in 3-4 days.
- If you feel you want to wear makeup post treatment, we recommend a mineral makeup only.
- A very rare but potentially serious side effect of dermal fillers is tissue necrosis or tissue death. This rare complication occurs when blood vessels around the injection site become ‘blocked’ and stop blood flow. Early intervention is vital to avoid this happening. Please contact your clinic if you see signs of ‘duskiness’ or gray patches, pustules or unusual skin changes which may/may not be associated with pain.
