So, what is Profhilo® Structura?
We are most likely all relatively caught up with the likes of dermal filler and Botox, and, while these are of course amazing treatments in their own right and ones we fully champion at Caci, Structura enters the chat with a bit of a different vibe.
Structura works with your body’s natural processes to restore and regenerate the structure of the face and refine the skin’s appearance. So how exactly does it do this? The secret lies in the formulation. Structura uses an advanced bio-stimulator made from Hyaluronic Acid (which we are all familiar with). Hyaluronic Acid is, of course, the skincare superstar that we all know and love by now, giving all our favourite serums that luxurious, hydrating edge, but its role in Structura works significantly differently. Rather than simply adding moisture and volume to the skin, in this setting, HA works on a much deeper level and targets ageing fat cells. These cells are responsible for giving our face shape and structure, and Structura encourages them to regenerate. This means that it doesn’t just make our skin look better temporarily on a surface level, which topical HA is fab for, it actually works below the surface of the skin to help rebuild its own youthful architecture and give a natural-looking lift.
How does Structura work? What does it do?
The magic of Structura is its ability to awaken the parts of our skin that will naturally begin to fade as time goes on. What happens during your Structura treatment
So what exactly happens during your Structura treatment at Caci? Your journey starts with your free consultation where you will have the opportunity to discuss the treatment in detail and we cover your medical history. Our knowledgeable team will get to know your skin and its goals to ensure that Sructura is the right match. If it is, then you will need to book in the two treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
One of our Caci Nurses will inject Profhilo® Structura into the skin across two injection sites using a cannula, maximising results by using the best technique to enhance your facial structure. The injection process is quick, and your appointment will typically be 30 minutes. Most people describe the sensation as being a mild and a brief discomfort, nothing too dramatic, and if you’ve had injectables before, absolutely manageable.
Post-treatment, you are likely to experience your skin may be pink or red at the treatment site. You may also have small lumps at the injection sites. This is normal and usually disappears within a few hours. Downtime is also minimal, (your strenuous exercising will have to wait for at least 24 hours!) meaning you can get back to your usual daily activities without missing a beat. Once the initial two treatments are done, you can maintain your incredible results with a single top-up session every 6-12 months. Magic, right?
